Here at Siri Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Pasco, our staff is the secret to our students’ success. We are proud to have a team of highly experienced and dedicated instructors who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping every student grow — both on and off the mats.

Our team brings expertise in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and/or Striking (Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing), offering a well-rounded martial arts education for all ages and experience levels. Each instructor has a strong background in their discipline and is committed to guiding the next generation of martial artists with patience, precision, and care.

Siri Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Pasco grew from a family’s passion for the sport and desire to share that passion with others.

Professor Wesley Cooper, owner and head instructor of Siri BJJ Pasco, began his Jiu-Jitsu journey not for himself, but for his children. What started as a fun extracurricular activity quickly became a life-changing path. With a background in wrestling, Wesley found himself drawn back into the world of grappling — this time through the lens of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As he joined his kids on the mats and trained under the expert guidance of Professor Gustavo “Siri” Pires, his passion for martial arts was reignited.

Wesley’s wrestling foundation blended naturally with the high-level Jiu-Jitsu instruction he received, accelerating his progress and deepening his commitment to the art. That dedication led to numerous achievements in local and national Jiu-Jitsu competitions, and a growing desire to share the life-changing benefits of Jiu-Jitsu with others.

After just four years of focused training and mentorship under Professor Gustavo, Wesley was invited to open a Siri BJJ affiliate — a testament to his growth, leadership, and connection to the Siri BJJ family. In August 2023, he officially opened the doors to Siri BJJ Pasco, with a mission to build a thriving martial arts community and help students of all ages experience the same confidence, discipline, and transformation that Jiu-Jitsu brought into his life.
